Data Assistant


 

The Department of Neurology is seeking a casual Data Assistant. The Data Assistant will work as part of the Neurofibromatosis Therapeutic Acceleration Program team and under the supervision of the Principal Investigators and the Research Program Administrator. The Data Assistant will ensure the proper collection of data, quality control, and workflow for clinical trial participants.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Work with the Principal Investigator to develop and implement data collection protocols for quality control.

Scheduling and setting up appointments for meetings and events.

Collect and/or organize data.

Enter data into databases.

Run routine queries of data.

Creating and managing data reports and lists (vendor files, email lists, purchase orders)

Escort clinical study participants to appointments in the East Baltimore Campus.

Create reservations online for research MRIs.

Converting hard copy project files to electronic folder versions.

Review patient charts for IRB approved research projects.

Act as a liaison between clinic staff and patients as needed.

Meet on a regular basis for supervision and in-service learning.

Uphold Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions staff strict adherence to federal and state laws dictating patient information confidentiality.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
Some related experience.
