BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PLAYWORKER
Wellesbourne CE Primary School’s popular before and after school club – WOOSH - is looking to recruit enthusiastic, reliable, flexible and hardworking Playworkers to join our established team in September. The hours are 7:50am-8:50am daily, 3pm-5:30pm Monday – Thursday and 3pm – 5pm Friday, term-time only.

The role involves:
- setting up snack/play areas
- actively engaging and interacting with the children, from Pre-school through to Year 6, showing patience, creativity, and enthusiasm, with an ability to adapt to different personalities and needs of the children
- supporting and supervising children while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- creating quality play opportunities within our safe and caring environment
- providing breakfast/snacks, ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met
- administering first-aid when necessary (if certified)
- helping with other duties round school as required
Essential: Minimum 1 Year childcare experience
Advantageous: NVQ Level 2 or 3, First Aid Certified
Rate of pay: Morning £10.79, afternoon £11.18
Hours: part-time - up to 17 hours per week

Interviews for shortlisted applicants will take place week commencing 17th July. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS and reference check prior to being offered the post. Start date 4th September 2023
This will be a permanent contract subject to a successful probation period.
