As our new Overheads Controlling Intern, you will be responsible for all the intercompany flows, and you will also highly contribute to month end closing activities and budgets/forecast set up. You will be working closely with our accounting team and with other business units in different countries. You are in for an empowering experience with autonomy and a complete overview of the business controller job.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for the intercompany flows of the NL entity
- Create purchase orders & make good receipts
- Invoice creation
- Support with month end closing tasks & prepare accruals
- Support with testing and implementation of Fixed costs tool
- Analyze month end SAP extracts & support business controller in budget and forecast preparation
- Ad hoc tasks related to OVH (requested from the business)
You will join an international team based in Amsterdam and in Paris, which is responsible for the financial management of key functions. The team acts a business partner to the leadership teams and provides financial insights into their performance.
About you
Ideally you are a Bachelor or Master student in Finance, Accounting, Business or in related fields. You have good knowledge of Excel (SAP is a plus!). You are reliable, motivated to consistently improve and well organized. You pay attention to detail and the quality of information provided. You are comfortable in changing environments and aren’t afraid to ask questions. Your strong communication skills enable you to have clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
- You must be enrolled as Bachelor/Master student for the whole duration of the internship (If you are not an EU-Citizen, you must be enrolled at a Dutch university)
- You are fluent in English – written and verbal
- You are willing to travel to Hoofddorp, NL (Note: If you are abroad you are required to relocate to the Netherlands and get a BSN)
- You are available from October 2023 for a minimum of 6 months; 4-5 days a week (Hybrid)

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
