Wake and Late is looking for an entry level baker to join our team for the NIGHT shift. Working hours will be 12am - 8am, 5 days a week. To be successful in this role, you need to be great at time management, a person who cares about people, and can work alongside your team. A strong willingness to learn and being open to critical feedback for the sake of constant improvement is a must.
This will be a multi unit operation in which the bakery team will be responsible for producing product for a growing number of stores. The bakery team will be making 100% sourdough bagels along with an assortment of pastries such as chocolate Rugelach, croissants, cinnamon rolls, etc. We are willing to train the right person with a can-do attitude and the drive to constantly learn and improve.

Job Requirements:
- Basic math skills: Addition, Multiplication, and verification of numbers.
- Organized and detail oriented
- Calm and collected under high stress moments
- Ability read and follow production sheets, and recipes.
- Ability to stand 8-10 hours a shift
- Ability to stand, crouch, bend and frequently lift 50lbs, push 75lb racks of pastries and breads multiple times a day.
- Have and maintain a managers food handlers license
- Positive attitude and works well collaboratively with managers and team members
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen, either in pastry or savory

Responsibilities
- Fulfilling a daily production schedule within the hours of your shift.
- Following recipes and filling out production logs to maintain consistency
- Understanding of equipment, and how to properly maintain them.
- Must comply to health and safety requirements at all times.
- Must be able to give and receive feedback that will improve the growth of the team and operation.
- Multitask effectively and efficiently
- Communicate clearly to all staff on a regular basis
- Maintain an organized and clean space.
