MECHANICAL ENGINEER WITH SPECIALIZATION IN PHE/FPS WORKS -
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate MEP systems effectively into building designs. Participate in project meetings and provide valuable input to ensure the smooth coordination of all building services.
Review of Design Documents & Drawings :
Checking of Design Documents for correctness and relevance for the project. Checking and reviewing of Design Basis Report, GFC drawings from consultant, shop drawings from contractors, method statements and quality check lists etc. Maintaining trackers related to MEP drawings, technical data sheets submitted by vendors.
MEP Installation Oversight:
Supervise the installation and commissioning of MEP systems on-site to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and technicians to address any installation challenges promptly. Preparing timelines/ work schedules for MEP works in coordination with planning dept and contractors. Review progress of work in line with project schedule and preparing and updating the status of MEP works on weekly basis.
Certification of Bills :
Certification of Contractors measurements, monthly RA bills, preparing regular reconciliation statements for free issue items etc. Maintaining records of JMR and MIR in co-ordination with contractors.
Quality Assurance:
Perform inspections and quality checks to verify the proper functioning of MEP systems. Ensure that the installations meet industry best practices and comply with Quality policy / requirements ensuring zero NCs during audits.
MEP Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of MEP-related documentation, check lists, method statements, as-built drawings, and equipment manuals.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Prioritize safety in all MEP-related activities. Adhere to and enforce safety protocols as per approved EHS policy during construction and maintenance.
