About the opportunity

As Head of Customer Technologies, you will be working on key projects that will have an immense impact on how our customers integrate with our market-leading Commerce Experience platform. You will be leading a skilled team of software engineers to deliver improvements and new features. You will also be working closely with our Product Manager of Customer Technologies to help shape the technical direction in how we develop future APIs and integrations with leading e-commerce platforms and technology providers.

What you will be doing

  • Line manager for a team of 4 software engineers
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance for the team
  • Together with the product manager manage the team backlog, and execute the day-to-day agile execution
  • Coordinating with the software development team in addressing technical debt.
  • Coordinating team to provide 3rd-line support for customers and ensure support SLAs are adhered to.
  • Coordinating with other engineering teams and stakeholders on cross-functional topics.

What we expect

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in hands-on software development (preferably Java or similar web backend-oriented languages)
  • Excellent understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
  • Good leadership and organizational abilities or strong potential.
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
