This is a fast-paced role working in the warehouse of a prestigious major UK retailer (non-food). Training will be provided in all aspects of the role and for those who deliver the results, there is the possibility of a long-term permanent career.
Key Requirements
- You will pick stock from the warehouse racking, guided by a hand-held scanner. You will locate the stock, pick the correct stock, scan the item using a handheld scanner & pack the item into a box ready for dispatch to the customer.
- Once all items are picked, candidates will be required to send the stock items to the packing area ready for distribution.
- Using a Power Pallet Truck (training will be provided), you will unload HGVs, checking that stock quantities are correct and then move to the correct location in the warehouse.
- All candidates will receive full training, though any previous experience will be an advantage.
Shift Patterns
Nights - Monday to Friday 8.00pm -4.30am with a 30 minute unpaid break (increasing to 8.00pm - 8.00am from October). There is a requirement to work Sunday nights also.
