Taitara Mahi – Property Information Officer

As a Property Information Officer, you will have a lead responsibility in key work areas such as property data management, GIS and property data integrity, and customer relations. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the efficient and effective management of property information within Hastings District Council

Responsibilities:

  • Property Data Management: Create and maintain land and property records. Ensure data is accurate between GIS and other council databases. Issue street numbers and rapid numbers for properties. Maintain the location/structured addresses.
  • GIS & Property Data Integrity: Maintain data processing and quality standards. Match LINZ data to HDC Property & Rating System. Ensure CI is the accurate master repository for all property data relationships. Resolve data integrity issues.
  • Customer Relations: Assist council staff and external customers with property-related inquiries. Allocate property ID's and provide training as required.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Experience with Document Management Systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with property management practices within Local Government.
  • Desired experience with the following technologies: CI - Technology One, Content Manager (CM9).
