The Center for Non-Communicable Diseases (CNCD) is looking for an experienced and qualified "Research Specialist". As a Research Specialist, your primary responsibilities will revolve around conducting literature surveys, writing articles, designing research proposals, and performing Pubmed searches. This multifaceted role requires strong research skills, excellent writing abilities, and the ability to identify relevant sources and information from the scientific literature.
Responsibilities:
Literature Survey: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to gather relevant information and insights on specific research topics.
Article Writing: Produce well-written, concise, and informative articles based on the findings of literature surveys and original research.
Research Proposal Design: Collaborate with researchers and teams to develop and draft research proposals, outlining objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes.
Pubmed Search: Utilize Pubmed and other databases to perform targeted searches, retrieve relevant scientific papers, and summarize key findings.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret research data from various sources to support article writing and proposal design.
Collaboration: Work closely with researchers, scientists, and subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the content produced.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in relevant fields, scientific trends, and emerging research to inform article writing and research proposals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Medicine, Social Sciences, etc.).
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough literature reviews.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
- Familiarity with Pubmed and other scientific databases for efficient literature searches.
- Attention to detail and the ability to critically assess research papers and scientific literature.
- Experience in drafting research proposals is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
