Document Controller

Are you pro-active, self-going and accurate?

We are looking for a Document Controller to support our deliveries by ensuring that all documentation is delivered at the right time at the agreed quality.

You will be part of our Document Control Department and a valuable member of the Project Team, supporting assembly and test of Subsea Equipment in our Workshops at Ågotnes. You will work in multi discipline projects involving several global sites across TechnipFMC, with delivery of equipment and services in an operational and hectic environment.

As our Document Controller your main tasks will be:

  • Work according to TechnipFMC standards and procedures to achieve document quality as requested by internal and external customers.
  • Create customer records and document numbers and prepare documents for transmittal to client according to applicable procedures.
  • Verify quality of incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Prepare documentation status reports and follow up on request from project or customer.
  • Suggest, participate and implement process improvements.

You are meant for this job if you:

  • Have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate of Apprenticeship with minimum 2 years relevant experience.

(Relevant experience and skills may compensate for the lack of formal education)

  • Are experienced within LCI and Document Control.
  • Have the ability to read, understand and explain procedures, contracts and instructions.
  • Can identify deviations to procedures, understand implications and contribute to problem solving.
  • Have an eye for details and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Are comfortable with high volume workload in a rapidly changing environment and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Communicate well in Norwegian and English.
