Picker/Packer E-commerce Assistant [United Kingdom]


 

MSH currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Picker/Packer Ecommerce Assistant to join our small but busy team in Hillington Park, Glasgow. The position is permanent, over Monday to Friday, totalling 39.75 hours per week, with most weekends off.

Duties will include:

  • Picking / packing sales orders
  • Unpacking deliveries & updating locations on the system
  • Stock taking & updating systems accordingly
  • General upkeep of warehouse
  • Monogramming, or other detailing added to orders
  • Processing of returns and re-shelving items
  • Adhering to health and safety policies
  • General warehouse & admin duties

The successful applicant will:

  • Be highly energetic, ambitious & have a positive outlook
  • Have previous experience in a similar role
  • Have great communication, both verbal and written
  • Be self motivated
  • Be goal and target driven
  • Be computer literate (Excel/Word)
  • Have strong initiative & organisational skills
  • Be able to prioritise work load
  • Have a strong attention to detail

A counter balance forklift license would be advantageous but not a requirement as training will be provided.

This position is full-time, 5 days per week Monday to Friday, 7:15-4.15 (4.00 On a Friday). Overtime will be required during busy periods and may include evenings and weekends.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and working as part of a small wholesale and ecommerce focused team. Salary TBC depending on experience and skill level.

Our office is located only a few minutes’ walk from Hillington East train station and easily accessible by car.
