Job Description


The Hotel Reception Manager are responsible for ensuring that the needs of the hotel’s guests are met, and they typically perform multiple duties throughout the course of each shift.(S)he will be responsible for the direct team serving the different areas of the hotel. Always willing to support and help the General Manager; as well as the direct working team of him/her.

Responsibilities:


  • Assisting guests with hotel reservations
  • Assigning rooms and suites to guests
  • Ensure the proper day to day operation of the department; effectively managing the people which are in the team
  • Passionate about delivering excellent guest experience with a friendly disposition to smile – inspiring the team to continue doing so
  • Exceptional service standards with attention to detail and experienced in guest profiling and recognition
  • Handle all complaints of guests and comments may occur; always focusing on maintaining the SCO positive image to the audience
  • Organize daily, weekly and monthly reports; as required by the direct manager
  • Answering incoming telephone calls from prospective and existing guests
  • Processing credit card transactions for lodging, room service and other hotel costs
  • Transferring phone calls to guest rooms
  • Providing guests with wake-up phone calls
  • Assisting with guest requests and complaints
  • Maintaining accurate records of guest charges (room service, pay-per-view, spa services, etc.)
  • Perform any other task, related to his/hers area of expertise and requested by the line manager

Mandatory Requirements:


  • Turkish National
  • University Degree
  • Excellent command of English language, both verbal and written
  • Proven working experience for minimum 5 years in a similar position in 5* Hotels or High-End Restaurants
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Computer operating skills including MS Office/Excel

Additional Requirements:


  • Knowledge of additional languages will be considered as a plus
  • Experience in other working environments will be considered as a plus
