Responsibilities

  • High volume of outbound calls to the IRS and other entities
  • Following script and guidelines on each and every phone call
  • Receiving, organizing, and recording files for clients and client records, etc.
  • Entering data and files into software applications and databases accurately
  • Checking for accuracy in data entry
  • Functioning in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
  • Utilizing technical systems effectively and efficiently, including desktop, call center specific phone systems, fax and CRM.

Skills/Requirements

  • Exceptional organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly
  • Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multitask while being on the phone
  • Excellent computer, data entry and word processing skills
  • Ability to perform digital filing and record-keeping tasks
  • Regular phone communication with IRS
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • High degree of integrity
  • Basic tax knowledge (nice to have)
  • IRS - C.A.F. number (nice to have)
  • Remote work experience (preferred but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
