As a food tech startup, Connected Robotics is developing robotics technology to solve social issues such as chronic labor shortages, heavy labor, and contactless response in the food industry. So far, we have steadily built up a track record of delivering products to physical stores and food factories, such as takoyaki robots, soft serve ice cream robots, soba robots, AI inspection robots, and prepared food serving robots. Currently, I am working in an office on the Koganei Campus of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology while conducting joint research. There are many foreign employees working in the company, and it is a very lively workplace where English is always spoken. We are also working on joint research with the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and AIST with a grant from NEDO. Our business focuses on software development, and we purchase existing robots, but various elements are necessary to use robots in new fields. We are currently developing a new product that we will actively sell, and we are looking for a front-end engineer who can handle the UI/UX development. In this position, you will design API and integrate the system into the UI based on discussionwith other software engineers (AI, robotics engineers). For designing user friendly(intuitive and easy to use)UI, we expect the engineers for this position to have knowledge in UX. Being a start-up, things changes at a fast speed, and engineers will be working with people of various nationalities.
