The Global Service Manager Service Desk Services will be the single point of contact between the service providers and the end users. They will capture demand for incident resolution and service requests, and provide a clear path for users to re-port issues, queries, and requests, and have them acknowledged, classified, owned, and actioned.

Your responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Global Service Desk.
  • Manages incidents and service requests, and handles communication with the users
  • Support and ensure compliance to defined IT Governance controls, standards, and practices.
  • Accountable for managing suppliers in ensuring they deliver quality services and meet all contractual obligations. Tracks actual utilization of services and reporting of supplier performance in meeting business service expectations and service levels.
  • Address the needs and challenges of the changing workplace and workforce by applying technology and service solutions

Minimum Requirements

What you will bring to the role:
  • University degree in Computer Science or comparable education; fluent English, written and spoken.
  • IT Infrastructure Management and IT Service Management Practices (ITIL Foundation Certification)
  • Expertise in Compliance, Risk Management, GxP, with solid knowledge of validation practice and IT control standards; Systems Integration & Build, Dev-Ops mindset and full solution lifecycle understanding from idea to retirement.
  • 3 - 5 years of IT experience in operations and system management.
  • More than 3 years of experience in Service Management or Engineering of a global service portfolio in similar areas as above, across geographies and business areas.
  • Working knowledge of German language would be an advantage.
