As a Strategy & Operations Manager you will play a crucial role in creating and executing our strategy whilst optimizing the inner works of Yokoy. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, spanning from strategic planning to hands-on operational execution. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of the action with immediate impact and avoid corporate rigidity and boredom. You get the chance to learn the ins and outs of running a fast-growing, top-tier-VC-backed scale-up. The steep and challenging learning curve will ultimately enable you to take a leading position in a dynamic environment.

\uD83E\uDDD1\uD83C\uDFFD‍\uD83D\uDCBB What you'll do (aside from the many things we cannot even foresee yet):

  • You will collaborate closely with the COO and the entire Group Executive team to deploy the company's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment and securing results across the company.
  • Business Development: You will monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics and conduct in-depth analyses to provide strategic recommendations on key business areas.
  • You will drive cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve Yokoy's ways of working to ensure scalability across the board, acting as a liaison between different teams to achieve company-wide objectives.
  • You will help foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, driving operational excellence initiatives and promoting best practices across the organization.
  • You will actively participate in the development and implementation of the company's annual operating plan.
  • You will facilitate the leadership dialogue with the Board of Directors and other relevant external stakeholders with relevant agendas and insights.
  • You will create and implement a mid-term plan to help steer the company towards our next funding round and help to create and convey our fantastic equity story towards Investors.

  • You will act as deputy to the COO to drive divisional projects and support the entire COO team to resolve day-to-day challenges swiftly, sustainably and with high quality.
  • ️ What you’ll need:
  • You bring at least 2 years of experience working in a top-tier management consulting firm or a similar environment, with a proven track record of delivering both strategic and operational projects.
  • You are a natural problem solver with a strong drive for results, capable of thinking critically, analyzing complex issues, and developing pragmatic solutions.
  • You have the ability to identify and independently drive initiatives with only little guidance, considering the context of our organization and business.
  • You have the aptitude to resolve challenges in areas where you have little domain know-how.
  • Your outstanding interpersonal skills enable you to engage effectively with stakeholders at every level of the organization, from executive leadership to cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • You are eager to learn, adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the self-expectation to create results from week one.
  • You embody positivity, a strong work ethic, stress resilience, and a risk-seeking mindset, which drive you to confront challenges directly and surpass conventional boundaries.
  • You possess outstanding English communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to articulate complex ideas with clarity and conciseness.
