Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the engineering team.
- Team Management: Recruit, onboard, and develop top engineering talent, set clear goals and objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Project Planning and Execution: Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines. Plan, organize, and execute engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective collaboration and communication with other departments to ensure alignment, understanding of requirements, and support between teams.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve engineering processes, workflows, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. Introduce best practices, agile development methodologies, automated testing frameworks, and new tools and technologies as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, including executives, clients, and other departments. Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates, manage expectations, and address concerns or issues in a timely manner.
- Strategic Planning: Align technical strategies and initiatives with the company's overall vision and objectives. Contribute to long-term technical planning, resource allocation, and technology roadmap development.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality standards and practices are followed throughout the engineering process, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with engineering projects, including potential technical challenges, resource constraints, and changes in project priorities.
