ISL has a dynamic team culture, committed to employee development. We now have an exciting opportunity for an AS&T Analyst to join their team. The main purpose of this role is to use analytical experience in a variety of techniques to perform non-routine analysis, method development and validation, method transfers, troubleshooting analytical methods and work on specially assigned projects related to testing at ISL laboratories.


Job Description
  • Perform method development and validation according to SGS requirements and procedures for a variety of analytical techniques (if required).
  • Perform and manage method transfers.
  • Perform Q.C method troubleshooting as required.
  • Conduct and conclude scientific analytical investigations according to cGMP.
  • Participate in the installation of new or existing equipment as requested and develop SOPs.
  • Perform analytical testing on non-routine samples as required, preparing scientific reports.
  • Perform training on a variety of analytical techniques for new and existing employees.
  • Participate in local and global projects as required.
  • Maintain laboratories to a high housekeeping standard.
  • Write and maintain necessary documentation (test protocols, SOPs, instrumentation manuals and checkout sheets, method transfer, reports, OOS reports, etc.) according to the existing SOPs and cGMP standards.
  • Maintain own state of the art knowledge of analytical techniques.
  • Deputize for the Analytical Science and Technology Team Coordinator as required.

Qualifications
  • Education and training: Science Graduate in Chemistry or equivalent education.
  • Professional requirements: Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices and sound knowledge of analytical technologies.
  • Necessary job experience: Experience in analytical (HPLC, GC, UV, wet chemistry, dissolution, etc.), good organisational skills, computer experience
  • Special working requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in analytical testing using a variety of chromatographic, instrumental, and wet chemical techniques.
  • Experience in testing drug product is an advantage
