The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is looking for an experienced administrator to join the Operations Team as a Coordinator. This role is responsible for effectively providing a broad range of administrative roles, function and services to the School Executive, and the mentoring and day-to-day lead of the Operations Team.The portfolio of responsibilities may include School Executive support including diary management, HR and payroll related tasks, processes, and advice including recruitment; website; assets; overseeing financial processes; event coordination; staff and/or student travel; and Committee support. This position will suit an individual who is self-motivated and thrives on working in a busy and complex work environment.
There is a need to be flexible as you may be asked from time-to-time to cover tasks outside of your portfolio.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Experience in providing high-level administrative support to members of an Executive Team within a large organisation with attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures;
Demonstrated experience in mentoring and leading staff;
Demonstrated experience with committee support;
Demonstrated high level organisational customer service and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous competing tasks with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted quality outcomes;
Demonstrated high level of skills in using standard software and database packages, including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Adobe Pro in particular document formatting and collation;
Experience with coordinating events (room bookings, catering, scheduling etc);
Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Benefits & Remuneration
These positions attract remuneration of $85,551 to $92,301 p.a. plus up to 17% University superannuation contribution.
